I have experienced two deaths in 6 months, one expected and the other completely unexpected. I’ve been searching for some way to make sense of all of this. This book showed me how I am repeating patterns in my life and creating obstacles for myself in my grief. It was helpful to relate to how other people relate to pain but are able to come out scarred but stronger somehow. It gives me hope.

Question and Challenge Everything! Read This Book!
Sofia’s book gave me RESOLUTION! I love how it’s written; it writes like you are sitting down talking to your best friend. I came across this book when I was going through a tough time in my life. I had a lot of questions about life and why why why. Sofia tells us that we are not the only ones that feel this way and have these questions. Growing up attending catholic school in Brooklyn I understood a lot about where she was coming from (she too attended Catholic school). The title is rebellious which caught my attention suggesting a fighter wrote it! It helps you in your journey to gaining the strength to jump those hurdles in life. I had the pleasure of meeting Sofia recently and she is a strong soul with an inner peace and after reading her book you will know why! Read It!

Very Worthwhile Read
In “If the Shoe Fits, Go Barefoot” Sofia A. Wellman does a nice job explaining complex concepts in ways that are understandable. She takes you on a journey, which includes her own journey, to find meaning and fulfillment in life. Moving from the outer world to the inner world, Sofia encourages you to explore your most important relationship — the one with yourself! The first time I read this book I learned the information. While reading the book a second time I was able to go to a deeper level with the material, but most importantly to a deeper knowing of myself. I can’t wait to see what happens the third time I read it! It is truly a book that with every reading the value gained increases. "If the Shoe Fits, Go Barefoot" showed up in my life with perfect timing, and I am grateful for that!
